On line cruising requires some getting used to.
There can be a LOT of attitude, so be patient.
Ignore the jerks and you will find nice people too.
When you are young, you are always horny,
and you may be inclined to have sex with lots more "types"
than you will as you get older. You will likely become
more choosey, pretty quickly... by about age 25.
Finding a long term companion is not easy.
It requires work, compromise, and patience.
You will both want to play around,
once in a while... it happens.
You should discuss these things
at the beginning of a relationship,
and establish rules, and honesty.
Otherwise, the relationship is doomed.
Date a guy for a while before you move in together.
Go on a short trip together.
If you don't hate each other by the time
you get back, the relationship may be a good one.
Be nice to older guys,
even when they come on to you.
What goes around, comes around.
You will be old too, one day.
Sometimes an older friend, or two, can be helpful.
They will be inclined to help you
just because you are young.
Everyone is different, and just because
they dress a certain way,
or look just like you,
does not mean you have anything in common
except you are both gay, and male.
Put your profile up on one of the sites
listed, in your city, and maybe
you will meet someone, or maybe not.
It's a start. People are not inclined
to answer if you don't post a photo.

You don't have to join anything to use this website
In my experience, education
is no indicator of how smart anyone is,
nor how nice they may be, so you really have
to get to know a person by their posts.
Just because someone is gay, is no reason
to expect them to be "nice". Just like real life,
there are nice people and total jerks.
You will have to take your time, get to know people,
and make your own judgements.
Don't rush to judgements.
If you are in the closet, secretive about your
sexual desires, you need not be.
It's your life, you'll be dead soon enough.
Take control of your life and realize you aren't alone.
There's millions of us.
The hard part is finding a compatible partner,
either for sex, or for life.
Not everyone likes the same things.
It's all one big pain in the ass,
but that's life.
If you want to get laid,
and are looking online,
your best bet is Manhunt, or Squirt,
or a similar sex site.
But it's not a sure bet at all.
You just have to be creative.
Most large cities have gay bathhouses.
That's not as great a thing as it seems,
but it sure beats having nothing at all.
These days, if you go to the baths,
you are usually desparate,
as there are so many bars and dance places
where you can meet other guys.
Just keep slugging on.
If you run into a guy you like somewhere,
don't be afraid to say hello.
You should be able to tell right away
how friendly someone is,
and if you don't approach them,
you will never know what got away.
And don't forget, if you don't already know,
being a bottom in unprotected sex,
is extraordinarily dangerous.
Don't play around without some knowledge
about sexually transmitted diseases.
It's your life, remember?
